How does one define leadership? More importantly, what makes a great leader? At E&L Global Communications, our 8 core values are the ingredients that make up our definition of leadership. Through repeated actions, executed by even the highest ranking in our firm, leadership becomes not just a destination, but a continuous process of development and improvement.

Dedication

Leaders are committed to their work.

Great leaders keep their end goals in mind! They have a clear vision of what they want their team to accomplish. A leader’s dedication lies in helping his/her team reach its goals because this ultimately helps the leader achieve his/her own goals.  

Work Ethic

Leaders set the pace.

They are the record holders, the go-to people, and the all-star trainers of the office.

It’s not because of talent; it’s because of work ethic. E&L Global Communications believes that if a person wants something bad enough, they will work hard and develop the skills needed to get it!

Student Mentality

Leaders never stop learning.

They understand the importance of humility and that there is always room improvement. Leaders are self-aware and know what they can get better at. Whether it’s through reading a business book or receiving advice from a mentor, the leaders at E&L Global Communications are always seeking to become the best versions of themselves!

Philanthropy

Leaders give back.

They seek to help others less fortunate because by setting this example, others follow in their path! E&L Global Communications hosts fundraising events for organizations, such as The Ronald McDonald House and Operation Smile, as a way to give back to the community!

Leaders stay positive.

They never underestimate the power of a positive attitude. At moments of triumph and tribulation, their mood stays consistent. This ability to protect their emotions and remain optimistic sets the energy for the rest of the team. As we say, more people like Tigger than Eeyore, right?!

Integrity

Leaders inherently do the right thing.

They do the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do. In representing the caliber of clientele that we do, it is imperative that leaders within E&L Global Communications act with high character and morality at all times. We value our partnership with our client, their customers, and our team, and would never want to jeopardize that by taking a shortcut in business.

Competitiveness

Leaders love a good challenge.

They know that in order to get the team results they desire, they must be willing to set the pace and throw out a few challenges here and there to keep everyone on their toes! We value competitiveness in a leader because we know they will be driven long after external motivational factors fade. The internal fire that fuels an athlete to practice when their entire body aches are what also fuels leaders within E&L Global Communications.

Humility

Leaders remain humble.

They are confident, but not arrogant. They know the day they have the mindset that they’ve arrived, they will fall from grace just as quickly. A true leader knows they must continue to ask questions, seek knowledge and learn from others in positions they desire while remaining likable and approachable.
